Winter Sightseeing Tours

Tours around Boston don’t stop simply because the snow has started! Here are a few popular seasonal tours that will get you out of your Landing 53 apartment and familiar with your historic city:

Boston in One Day Sightseeing Tour: This is a wonderful guided sightseeing tour that takes you to 20+ famous Boston sites, as well as iconic areas such as the North End, Beacon Hill, and some Freedom Trail locations. Craft Brewery Beer Tour: We have a thing for breweries in Boston – so naturally we have to include a winter tour on our list! This specific tour is 3.5 hours and takes you behind-the-scenes of 3 local craft breweries. Talk about VIP treatment!

Boston Hop On, Hop Off Sightseeing Tour: Tour as you please! This narrated trolley tour highlights over 125 points of interest from the comfort of a fun, retro trolley. The tour itself lasts about two hours, but you can hop on and off the trolley as you please to check out specific attractions.

Take the Kids to a Festival

Are your kiddos begging to get out of the house for an afternoon of fun? The Children’s Winter Festival returns to the Boston Common on Thursday, February 20th from 11am-2pm! Families are invited to an afternoon of music, arts & crafts, interactive games, special treats, and a photo booth. The event is free of charge for all – see more info on the Boston Parks & Rec website.

This Year’s Location: Parade Ground (at the corner of Beacon and Charles Street – and not far from The Fenway Portfolio!).

Take a Sip of the Boston Wine Festival

There’s truly no reason to miss this event – it’s a 10-week food and wine festival! From Friday, January 10th – Friday, March 27th, the Boston Harbor Hotel is hosting the famous Boston Wine Festival

There are a ton of events taking place throughout the festival itself, so visitors can purchase tickets for specific dates as they please. You’ll feel as if you’re brought to the hills of Napa and Italy as you sip, snack, and learn about various wine types and the wine-making process.
