If there’s one thing Boston is known for in the month of October, it’s holding some of New England’s most popular Oktoberfest celebrations! From the harbor to the heart of downtown, grab a stein and enjoy these upcoming cultural celebrations.

Located just across the Charles from Boston Proper lies an authentic German bar and restaurant that celebrates Oktoberfest just right – The Bronwyn Restaurant. Oktoberfest Beer Dinner

The Pub at Cape Ann Brewing Company is holding their annual beer dinner on October 19th from 6:30-9:00 pm. The crew at Cape Ann Brewery is famously known for crafting bold beers with plenty of favor. In the spirit of Oktoberfest, enjoy a full 5-course meal along the harbor of America’s oldest fishing port. Talk about getting a taste of culture AND history!

If you’re a foodie who appreciate authentic German dishes and good company, this event is for you. For $45, enjoy the following dishes:

  • German potato soup
  • Rheinheitsgebot salad
  • Wild boar bratwurst
  • Venison rouladen
  • German chocolate pumpkin stout cake

Oktoberfest: Beer, Cheese, and Cuisine

I mean… is there a better way to enjoy German heritage that combining authentic food and drink with cheese? Perhaps it depends on who you ask, but the folks of Oktoberfest: Beer, Cheese, and Cuisine in Cambridge have all the ingredients to mix up a tasty Oktoberfest.

From salted radishes, freshly roasted chicken, and of course steaming hot pretzels, taste your way through traditional Oktoberfest fare. To top off your meal, take your pick of the event’s five featured beers (get your steins ready! The event is happening Thursday, October 26th at 6:00 pm, and general admission tickets are priced at $65.

Sam Adams Oktoberfest

Naturally as residents of Boston, we have to include Samuel Adams’ OktoberFest in Boston! The event takes place on October 27th at the World Trade Center Concourse (Boulevard of Flags) from 4:00-11:45 pm – that’s plenty of time to enjoy live music, lawn games, photo booths, delicious beer, and food vendors highlighting the season’s bounty. From the original Boston Lager to Rebel IPAs and Octoberfest, what pour will you choose first?
