Holiday Lighting Ceremony
Start your holiday season with an evening full of cheerful Christmas carols, twinkling lights, and plenty of hot cocoa at the Holiday Lighting Ceremony at Newton City Hall. This year, the Stacey Peasley Band will be performing your holiday songs, and all guests are encouraged to sing along at 6pm! The free event has a variety of family-friendly activities, and here are the highlights we’re most looking forward to:
- Indulge in hot cocoa, eggnog, and fresh baked cookies
- More live music from members of Rob’s Guitar School
- Take part in the 3-2-1 countdown as Mayor Setti Warren flips the light switch to transform the grounds into a bright Winter Wonderland at 7pm
In addition to the above activities, 2019 marks the first “Stuff a Cruiser” event. Guests are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy that will be donated to the Village Banks’ Holiday Gift Drive. How many presents do you think will fit into the police cruiser?
