Franconia Notch State Park

There’s a beautiful stretch of I-93 that winds through Franconia Notch State Park. At 90 miles north of Concord, this state park presents stunning mountain views along back country roads that force you to slow down and enjoy every bit of nature around you. This is one of our favorite attractions for those who love taking drives in the fall to adore the changing foliage. In addition, there are many stops along this 8 mile adventure that includes a boardwalk at Flume Gorge, the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway, and many hiking trails surrounding Echo Lake.
