5. Change Your Address
Changing your address a few days before you move is beneficial to the overall moving process. Contact your local post office to inform them of your new address and request a mail forwarding system so you don’t miss any mail, magazines, bills, etc. You’ll need to provide paperwork and fill out some forms, so give yourself enough time to sit down and make your new address official.
