The Bradenton Farmers’ Market – Every Saturday

Grab your grocery tote every Saturday morning to stock up on the freshest fruits, vegetables, and prepared foods at the Bradenton Farmers’ Market! Take your pickin’ from over forty area vendors – ranging from farmers, artists, and craftspeople. Bring your dogs, too (just as long as they’re leased!).

Here’s an extra tip – on every third Saturday of the month, the Market teams up with Mainly Art from 9 am to 2 pm on Fourth Avenue West. Snack on your fresh finds while enjoying upbeat music, cooking demonstrations from local chefs, and take part in free family activities!

The Annual Sarasota Chalk Festival – November 10th-13th

Just outside of the Bradenton-Sarasota area is one of the year’s most colorful and artistic events – The Annual Sarasota Chalk Festival! Celebrating its 10th year, this year’s theme is Evanescent – focusing on how the memories of art itself last a lifetime. Check out this “museum in motion” as chalk artists will use the Venice Airport Festival Grounds as their canvas. Get this – nearly 500 artists participated last year! Here’s what we expect to see this year:

  • Street Painting
  • 3D Pavement Art
  • Traditional pavement Art

The event is happening over four days – November 10th-13th – from 8 am to 5 pm.
